    Through faith in Jesus Christ, you are saved from the consequences of sin and given eternal life. Salvation is available to anyone who believes that Jesus is the Son of God and receives Him as Lord and Savior. It’s not complicated, Jesus did the heavy lifting. Your step is to believe.

    Salvation happens when you trust that Jesus died for your sins, rose again, and now wants to lead your life from the inside out.

    If you’re ready to take this step, pray this from your heart:

    “Dear God, I confess that I am a sinner and that I need your forgiveness. I believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God, that He died on the cross for my sins, and that He rose from the dead on the third day. I ask you to forgive me of my sins and to come into my life as my Lord and Savior. I give my life to you, and I ask for your guidance and strength to live for you from this day forward. Thank you for your love and mercy. In Jesus’ name, Amen.”

    Ready to be all in?

    Baptism is your bold declaration of what Jesus has done in your heart. It’s the moment you say, “I’m all in.”

    When you go under the water and come back up, you’re demonstrating that your old life is gone and your new life in Christ has begun. Baptism declares three powerful truths:

    • You’re a follower of Jesus Christ.
    • You’re living a changed life.
    • You’ve become part of a new spiritual family.

    What to Expect

    Baptism at One City is a celebration, your church family cheering you on as you publicly declare your faith.
    During worship, you’ll share a brief confession of faith.
    You’ll be baptized through complete immersion.
    We’ll give you a baptism shirt to wear.
    The following week, you’ll receive a certificate marking this significant step in your journey.
    “Or don’t you know that all of us who were baptized into Christ Jesus were baptized into his death? We were therefore buried with him through baptism into death in order that, just as Christ was raised from the dead through the glory of the Father, we too may live a new life.” (Romans 6:3-4)
