Pastor Jared & Danielle Fabac
Pastor Jared Fabac serves as Lead Pastor to One City Church alongside his wife, Danielle, who serves in various roles throughout the ministry. Pastor Jared holds unique experience in professional counseling, business and pastoral leadership designed to grow leaders in their Godly callings, human-to-human. After spending over a decade starting and growing two marketing companies successfully, Jared developed a unique love for developing people to reach their highest capacity—and it’s not telling people what they want to hear and moving on. It’s how well you connect with the heart-beating people you’re trying to help and guiding them to see that God has a great calling for them.
Through his work in counseling, Jared has received certification in Integrated marriage and Family Therapy, Substance Abuse and Addiction Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Temperament Therapy, as well as Crisis and Abuse Therapy. He often integrates this understanding of mental health into his teachings and messages. He has written articles and case studies for the National Association of Christian Counselors and is licensed as a Clinical Pastoral Counselor.
In ministry, Pastor Jared and Danielle feel called to the mission to build God’s church with an atmosphere that allows all people, regardless of circumstance and background, to experience a fully free and restored life through the welcoming grace of Jesus Christ.
In addition to his extensive leadership experience, Pastor Jared is also a Certified Speaker, Trainer and Coach with the John Maxwell Team and he contributes to the international strategy to bring peace into underdeveloped countries. Alongside that certification Pastor Jared is also Maxwell DISC Certified and a Certified Youth Facilitator. Pastor Jared is also a Certified Executive Leadership Coach with GiANT Worldwide. Pastor Jared also serves on the Board of Director for Metanoia Missions International, a non-profit who’s mission it is to fight child hunger and bring sufficient medical care to those in need in Nicaragua.
Pastor Jared holds a B.A. in Psychology and an M.A. in Clinical Counseling. He also holds active memberships in the National Christian Counselors Association, the American Association of Christian Counselors and as a Practitioner with the Association for Clinical Pastoral Education. He is also a Veteran and served the United States Navy.
Pastor Jared and Danielle, have 4 daughters and currently reside in Virginia Beach.
