Hi, I’m Daniel Solis, and I serve as the Discipleship Director here at One City Church. I’ve been part of this amazing community since 2021, and my role involves leading the prayer ministry through corporate, intercessory and altar prayer. Our team focuses on the care of the congregation and coordination of outreach team. Lastly, we oversee our Small Group ministry which allows our church to never lose the personable feel!
On a personal note, I am married to my wonderful wife Melissa, and we have two beautiful daughters. Golf is one of my favorite hobbies, along side being at the beach or on a lake fishing.
One of my favorite parts of being at One City Church is being home. Have you ever walked into a church and knew right away something was different. Something felt warm and felt as if every part of you belonged. This is One City, this is family, and this is home.
When I’m not at the church, you might find me leading and building my businesses or running while I train for different endurance events. I take pride in the personal development of people watching them grow!
A Bible verse that inspires me in both my personal and professional life is Romans 12:2. It says do not conform to the pattern of this world but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. I love this verse because it’s a constant reminder we are to keep our minds strong. Once we meet Jesus, we can’t live the same way. This new way of living allows us to show our testimony and help people see the transformative power of Jesus.
Looking ahead, I’m excited about to continue to watch what God is doing. He is bringing people with gifts that are going to be used in a way that I cannot even comprehend. I am ready to watch people’s eternity change and for people to experience the peace they have always longed for.
Feel free to reach out if you’d like to chat about our prayer team if you have a heart to help people in the church and in the community. I’m always here to meet people in conversation, prayer, or to share a cup of coffee. Excited to see what the future holds for us at One City Church!
